The only single malt in Scotland that has the true right to be called Speyside, this small distillery is located right beside the River Tromie, a tributary of the great Spey. Perhaps having an extremely long construction phase will set firm foundations for this the Speyside distillery. Construction began in 1962, with the grand total of one lone worker the distillery building was eventually completed in the 1980s and distilling commenced in 1990. Now having released a new 12 year old edition the owners of this distillery have high hopes of making it into one of the world’s best sellers.
